Mackenzie Eason & Associates has been retained by Main Street Anesthesia to help recruit their next National Director of Recruiting. This is a new role among the executive team in an innovative, entrepreneurial, and growing company. The National Director of Recruiting will own and execute all end-to-end recruiting practices and initiatives within the company and be responsible for the vision, strategy, and goals for all aspects of recruiting. The role will include high level strategy and implementation as well as oversee building the candidate pipeline, managing recruitment channels, sourcing and hiring, and implementing candidate tracking systems and processes.  The role will have one direct report, the Regional Recruiting and Relations Director and will report directly to the COO.

Main Street Anesthesia’s mission is to redefine the anesthesia services customer experience.  With firsthand experience on how priorities can quickly shift away from what really matters, what they call the main things, Main Street’s founders came together with a shared vision and mission to be the anesthesia company that people want to work with.  Currently serving 10 facilities in New Mexico and Texas with over 100 providers, Main Street Anesthesia offers all employees a positive, engaging culture that is grounded in service and collaboration. They take great pride in their values of being clinically exceptional, service-minded, open, honest, caring, and team-oriented.

Their vison is to become the partner of choice for hospitals and health systems. Main Street is smart about balancing growth with delivering quality service.  With that in mind, the National Director of Recruiting will be a vital leader in achieving Main Street’s objectives of intentional growth focusing on the Southwest region.

Main Street’s 3-Year Vision includes adding 3-5 new customers per year and growing from about 100 providers to 300 providers strong.

The Opportunity

The National Director of Recruiting will be instrumental in growing the company by building, implementing, and overseeing the company’s overall recruiting strategy, process, and structure.  This role will have a considerable stake and influence in perpetuating the vision and establishing Main Street’s national exposure and representation in the provider and healthcare community.  The National Recruiting Director will integrate into a progressive, entrepreneurial-minded executive team who exhibit humility and a willingness to adapt, pivot, and change as needed in order to collectively achieve the company’s growth goals and objectives.  The Director will take ownership of the recruitment process by assessing and recommending recruiting strategies and process improvements, establishing measurable recruiting goals and KPI’s, and evaluating team performance.

Main Street is currently developing and building a proprietary database, recruitment system, and enterprise practice management tool.  The Director will offer valuable input on the design, build, and implementation of an organized and scalable candidate tracking database software for the recruitment process.  They will spend time with the developer testing in the beta environment around the final design, with anticipated migration to the new software data base by the end of Q1 2021.
